The paper concludes with an overview of required technological improvements to land application systems for all types of livestock manure. Those criteria include the maximization of nutrient recycling and of social acceptance, the protection of air, soil and water resources and of human health and safety, the control of manure application rates, and the minimization of capital and operating costs and of energy requirements. Criteria for the design of future land application systems and the improvement of existing ones are then presented. This discussion highlights the current technological shortcomings for land application systems adapted to semi-solid and solid manure. A discussion follows on land application systems for livestock manure that includes equipment for the transfer of manure from the storage facilities, equipment for transporting the manure to the application sites, and equipment for applying the manure to soil-crop systems. The first part of this review paper addresses the large variability of the physical, chemical, and biological properties of manure and how this variability needs to be accounted for in the design and operation of land application systems and equipment. ![]() A highly valuable fertilizer and amendment for soil-crop agricultural systems when properly managed, manure can also become an important source of pollution when the management systems are deficient. The different and often highly variable biological, chemical, and physical properties of livestock manure can result in both positive and negative impacts on air, soil, water, fauna, and flora. The 2015 models will be released shortly.Manure constitutes an unavoidable by-product of any livestock production system.Just a general question as to why this particular bat is at such a low price. The end load forces a power hitter to utilize the top hand of their swing creating more back spin to increase distance. Many of the hitters who are gap to gap or home run hitters tend to prefer a more top heavy, end loaded, or max loaded bat. Most line drive hitters prefer a balanced bat such as the Easton B3.0 or B4.0.Was wondering if you would recommend the B3 or B4 for potentially some additional power. I am strictly a line drive placement singles hitter. They are both ASA approved, 2-piece, composite (IMX), and have 13.5" barrel lengths. The 2015 Easton Raw Power Bryson Baker Slowpitch Softball Bat ASA Balanced SP15BBA would be the 2015 version of the SP14B3 bat. What is the 2015 equivalent (or closest to an equivalent) of the SP14B3?.The 2014 Easton B3.0 SP14B3 Slowpitch Softball Bat is NOT 2012 NSA approved. The B3.0 will work but as you stated does take the risk of breaking. 40 core 400 lb compression ball is quite a bit harder than the standard ASA ball. Using a harder ball will have more wear and tear on your bat. I would assume this bat would work fine for that ball Note: the other league I am in uses a 52cor 275comp. It seems like the 2013 ASA bats aren't build for a ball that hard and I could even break the bat. I tried to read up on it and became more confused. Will this bat work for that type of ball. I am in a league where they use a Gray dot 400lb compression Cor 40 ball but require ASA bats. The 2014 Easton B3.0 will have the newest ASA stamp on it at this time.My League requires the ASA 2003 or newer approval stamp.Depending on which shipping option you choose will determine when it is delivered. If ordered today it would ship out on Monday. ![]() remaining in stock and will not be receiving anymore. Wanted to find out if this bat is still available in a 28oz? If not the 27oz bat listed on this page is still available and if ordered today when would it be able to ship to NJ? Thanks and looking forward to hearing back from someone shortly.100 swings in its starts to open up and I have gotten to 250 and it seems to just get hotter. Good for skud missiles through the infield. I use Tennis Racket grips and they feel unreal when you swing You guys need to stop complaining about the grips on Eastons and get custom grips. I suspect that the B3 ASA is thinner walled to keep up with Miken/Worth/Demarini for the 52/300. I swung a 300-400 hit B3 and we were hitting 350+ foot shots with ease.īecause this bat gets much hotter sooner than most Eastons I own and/or swung I do not know much about the durability. I did not expect this bat to perform the way it did. ![]() If you are hitting a 52/300 this bat will launch that ball. Cons: The grip is not my favorite, but that is easily replaceable.I'm a big guy (5'11'' 235lbs), so I can put a lot behind the bat, but my other bats haven't given these same results (ASA Worth 454 green/white) I hit balls well over a 317' distance fence that is about 15' high. It is exactly what I've been looking for. The bat has a lot of pop right out of the wrapper.
